Hardware Security

Hands-on security testing in our lab for embedded, IoT, connected, and industrial devices—from physical hardware and debug interfaces to firmware, communications, and supporting software.

Physical hardware analysis

Inside our lab, we disassemble devices, map boards and components, and inspect exposed test points, storage, trust boundaries, and debug interfaces.

Firmware & software analysis

We extract and reverse firmware, then test boot flows, update mechanisms, secrets, protocols, APIs, and companion software.

Attack-path validation

We safely combine hardware and software weaknesses into realistic attacks, then provide prioritized fixes and remediation retesting.

What is Hardware Security?

Hardware security testing examines the complete device, not just the application it runs. In our lab, we physically disassemble the product, map its components and interfaces, and assess how it stores secrets, establishes trust, and resists hands-on access.

We then analyze firmware and connected software to test boot and update chains, debug access, authentication, communications, APIs, and companion applications. Linking the physical and software layers reveals attack paths that isolated reviews miss.

With HARDWARE SECURITY, you can:
  • Identify undocumented UART, JTAG, and SWD access
  • Assess secure boot, firmware updates, and rollback protections
  • Find exposed keys, secrets, and sensitive data in storage
  • Test device protocols, APIs, and companion applications
  • Validate attack paths from physical access into connected systems

How Do We Deliver Hardware Security?

“Their red team reached our research systems in under two weeks, and not one alert fired. Instead of a scare, we got a timeline, tuned detections, and a retest that proved the path was closed. It is the only offensive security work I have put in front of our board.”

Trusted outcomes.

Complete device visibility

See hardware, firmware, and connected software as one attack surface.

Exposed interfaces found

Identify hidden debug and test paths before attackers use them.

Stronger firmware trust

Verify boot, signing, update, and rollback protections.

Better secret protection

Harden key storage and sensitive data handling across the device.

Proven attack paths

Connect findings to device and business impact with safe evidence.

Engineering-ready fixes

Give product teams prioritized remediation and focused retest support.
